The Impromptu String Quartet is a busy professional quartet that prides itself on its quality and flexibility.
Our musicians are all highly trained professional musicians and conservatoire graduates that enjoy busy freelance careers and have played in many of London and the UK's most prestigious venues.
We provide an elegant and professional option equally at home on the concert platform, in a recording studio or as background entertainment for your wedding, corporate event or party.

Updated repertoire list
With an ever increasing list of requests for pop arrangements, our arrangers have been working overtime, and several new arrangements have hit the pads in the recent months!.
These include Mark Ronson's 'Uptown Funk', Clean Bandit - 'Rather Be' and Lily Allen's version of Keane song 'Somewhere only we know'
